This page illustrates the step-by-step process, from your first contact with SurgeryEuropa through your recovery and follow-up care.

Step 1. Call us or email us You can contact us by either filling out our contact form on this website or by calling us in order to obtain a free personal quote for your needed medical procedure. |

Step 2. Cost estimate Once you have sent us your query, asking for either further information or a personal quote, we will contact you by telephone or e-mail giving you a cost estimate for the medical procedure you are interested in. |

Step 3. Fill out medical information form You'll be asked to fill out a detailed medical form so that we can thoroughly analyze your case. |

Step 4. Send requested medical records for review For all medical procedures, your SurgeryEuropa doctors will need to have your records, MRIs, x-rays, photos, etc. After you have filled out the Medical Record Form you may also be required to send pictures or previous medical studies/records/evaluations for your SurgeryEuropa physicians to analyze. |

Step 5. Conference call with your SurgeryEuropa doctor After having reviewed your forms, history and past and/or recommended procedures, your SurgeryEuropa surgeon will contact you to talk about your specific case. He will let you know if your case situation is suitable for surgery. |

Step 6. Final free quote and information about payment methods We will present you with the doctor's opinion, comments, recommendations, the final quote and the payment options (bank transfer, credit card or PayPal). |

Step 7. Surgery and travel reservations If the physician confirms that you are fit to undergo the procedure and you decide to move forward, you will be assigned a tentative date for your procedure that is convenient for you. You can then set up your travel and accommodation arrangements through the travel agent of your choice. |

Step 8. Payment of deposit A deposit of 20% of the total price of your procedure is required to reserve your surgery. The surgical process will be confirmed after the initial deposit is received. You have the option to select your surgery date before or after paying your deposit. We are flexible so you can always reschedule for your convenience. After receiving your deposit, you will receive a detailed schedule of your medical trip and we will be happy to send you information about our city, the climate and other tourist tips and information you may find useful before traveling to Valencia. |

Step 9. Travel to Valencia. We will meet you and take you to the hotel/hospital Your flight will arrive at the Valencia Manises Airport, where one of our assistants will meet you. Your personal assistant will take you either to your hotel or to the hospital depending on your pre-arranged schedule. |

Step 10. We introduce you to your SurgeryEuropa orthopedic specialist At a pre-arranged time, your assistant will take you to see your specialist. At this interview, you will be able to again discuss the procedure to be performed. The doctor will answer any additional questions and give you feedback as well as support information on your surgery expectations. |

Step 11. Payment of the procedure |

Step 12. We accompany you to your pre-surgical tests Prior to your surgical procedure, you will have a final medical examination pursuant to your treatment requirements. At both this stage and for any subsequent face-to-face consultations with your doctor, your assistant will accompany you. |

Step 13. Surgical procedure After having completed your medical tests and having met your physician, you will have your surgery (perhaps within hours of the initial consultations and testing). For your convenience and comfort, we will chauffer you to and from the clinic and be of any assistance that we can. if you are planning to have more than one surgical procedure, your surgeon may choose to perform them separately, always taking into consideration what’s best for you. |

Step 14. Recovery and Post-op appointments The first few days after surgery are of utmost importance for the long term success of your operation. It is essential for you to get adequate rest therefore your doctor will decide where it is best for you to stay - it could be either in ICU, a hospital room or your hotel depending on your situation. Additionally, usually two to four post-surgical appointments will be necessary for the surgeon to check your general condition and ensure that you are healing properly. At your last consultation, you will be issued a medical authorization to return home. |

Step 15. Enjoy the Post-treatment Once the surgeon is satisfied with your progress, he will allow you to enjoy some of the interesting attractions our city offers. |

Step 16. Return trip For your flight out of Valencia, your assistant will drive you from your hotel to the airport and will remain there until your flight departs – you will not be left stranded at the airport in the event of flight delays or other problems. |

Step 17. Follow-up care Our commitment does not end there. SurgeryEuropa will keep in touch with you even after you have returned home and will gladly answer any questions or address any concerns that you or your physician at home may have regarding your recovery. ^top |
