Why choose Spain for medical treatment?

Because in Spain you will find top quality physicians and medical facilities equipped with the most modern technology on a par with the best hospitals in the United States.

In Spain, we have the established infrastructure and the professional qualifications for offering high quality medical assistance to patients from other countries for a lower price than in the rest of Europe and the United States and Canada.

Spain borders on France, Portugal and the Mediterranean Sea. It is considered by many to be one of the most beautiful countries for tourist travel. If your circumstances allow you an opportunity for tourism, either pre or post surgery, you have many wonderful choices.

What if I must postpone my trip due to personal reasons?

If the patient must postpone the trip for personal reasons after the deposit was made (20% of the package's total cost), he/she may ask for a reschedule. Surgery Europa will stick to the original price for 6 months after the date from which the trip was postponed, but once that period elapses, the package's price could be modified. The deposit will be held through to the reschedule date and considered as payment on account. Visit the section Terms and Conditions of the Service to see the cancellation policy.

What if in the pre-surgical consultation the physician resolves that I cannot undergo the treatment?

Surgery Europa most strongly recommends being completely forthright and asking all your questions before the trip, especially if you suffer from any diseases such as diabetes, cardiopathies or high blood pressure, that will call for special care in order to carry out the procedure.

If the procedure is cancelled by decision of the physician, we will abide by the cancellation policy. Visit the section Terms and Conditions of the Service to see the cancellation policy.

What happens if there are complications?

In Spain, the law requires the patient to sign an informed consent, detailing all the possible, frequent and unfrequent surgical complications.

If any problem arises and the treatment needs to be changed, the physician will inform you of the options so that you will be able to make the best decision. If for any reason you are not able to make a decision, the physician will discuss the matter with the person you have assigned as your guardian.

You will be kept informed at all times and, if necessary, Surgery Europa will offer you the possibility of asking for a second opinion from another professional.

What if I decide to leave from Spain earlier than recommended?

The physician decides the minimum time that the patient will need to stay in Spain in order to recover favorably. Surgery Europa will not be held responsible for the decisions made solely by the patient.
